We aim to make your stay as comfortable, hassle-free and enjoyable as possible.

  • Each room cleaned, bed made, toilet roll replaced as needed: £60 per service of 11 rooms plus downstairs toilets. Service including kitchen and leisure spaces: £100

  • Mature and responsible parents will look after your young ones (up to 3 children) while you are out: £10 p/h before midnight, £15 p/h after midnight

  • We can arrange catering from a sandwich buffet to a multi course tasting menu. We offer an extensive range of draught products, wines and spirits for the bar. Ask us for details/ price lists

  • We can provide quiet hotel room fridges and chafers and gel fuel (to keep food warm)- both at £10 per item per stay, Cots and bedding are available on request at no charge, high chairs are always available.

The Old Church House is a great location for your business event. Our large car park, on site bar, comfy rooms and multiple areas for discussions/ get togethers make this a business event location that’s refreshingly different! We warmly welcome business groups and are happy to offer business packages which include:

Business services

  • We can arrange for coffee, tea and cake/ biscuits for your meetings well as buffet lunches and post-meeting bar services. Please e-mail us with details of your event/ requirements and we’ll provide you with a quote.

  • We can arrange catering for evening meals or advise on local places to eat. Please e-mail us with details of your event/ requirements and we’ll provide you with a quote.

  • We offer discounts to registered charities and can occasionally provide free meeting facilities. Drop us an email if you think we can help.

Private events

At its heart, the Old Church House is a place for people to come together to rest, eat, drink and enjoy each other’s company. In this spirit, we offer a range of events to make your stay more enjoyable. These are subject to availability, so let us know what you’d like to do as soon as you can!

  • We team up with a specialist partner to offer a range of bar events from the more to the less serious! Let us know what you’d like or we can put you in touch with providers directly.

  • Live music at the bar is a great tradition which we encourage! We can arrange for our '‘House’ jazz band, Ronnie Jones to play for you, or source other music. Let us know what you’d like and we’ll do our best. We hold appropriate music licenses, but please note- you mustn’t arrange your own live music without talking to us- part of our licence fee depends on reporting of live events, so we need to do the paperwork!

  • We can take the hassle out of organising a special celebration or event, providing a package including bar services, catering, flowers etc. Email us with your requirements and we’ll give you a quote
